Making Sense of Joseph & Mary
You probably know who Jesus' earthly parents were - Joseph and Mary. But do you know why these two were chosen by God to be the earthly parents of Jesus the Messiah? We'll try to make sense of Joseph and Mary in this sermon, and see what they teach us about Christ himself.
God's Everlasting Promises
Our next exposition in Genesis will cover the extraordinary events of a single day in the life of Abram, recorded for us in Genesis 17:1-27. Here we will meditate on the everlasting promises of God and consider the consequential devotion to God that is called for from all of God's covenant people.
How God Gives Assurance
In this exposition we will consider the meaning and the significance of the "Abrahamic Covenant" of Genesis 15:7-21, and see how God gives assurance to his people through his covenants.
While the Earth Remains
In our next exposition of Genesis, we are going to dive into the setting and the terms of the "Noahic Covenant" - God's promise to never destroy the world again with a flood. We'll deal with the reasons this covenant is so important, and how it points to the Gospel.
