The Kingdoms of Man
Our next exposition in Genesis will focus on the familiar story of "the tower of Babel." We'll see how the sins of Babel infect our lives today, and how the Lord's response to these sins should sober us and give us hope.
Death is Not the End
In this exposition of 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, we'll see how the resurrection of Christ and the promise of every Christian's future resurrection at Christ's return should affect the way we think about death.
Living in a World of Death
Next up in our series through the book of Genesis is the genealogy from Adam to Noah in Genesis 5 - a passage that shows us the way to live rightly in a world of death.
How to Live with God Forever
In this exposition of Genesis 2:8-17, we'll explore what the passage teaches about the way for man to live with God in his dwelling place forever.
God's Finished Work
In our next exposition on the book of Genesis, we'll look to "the most delightful day [to date] in all of history" (as one pastor describes); the seventh day of the creation week and the first Sabbath - and hear God inviting us to find our rest in him forever.
To the Troubled Suffering Church
This Lord's Day we will hear and work through Christ's letter to the struggling church in Smyrna. We'll consider the sufferings they were enduring and the way Christ encourages them, and then spend some time applying the passage to our current circumstances as a church.
Death Precedes Life
This Resurrection Sunday our Scripture text is 1 Corinthians 15:35-49. We'll dig into this passage together and consider how Paul uses the relationship of seeds to crops and of Adam to Christ to address the skepticism of those who believe the resurrection of all believers to be impossible. God's work in nature and in redemption both testify to the fact that in God's world, death precedes life.
Sustained by Hope
In our second "hopeful meditation" on Isaiah 9:1-7, we'll explore how the promises of this passage function to sustain our faith while we wait for God to fulfill them completely. We'll look at the specific promises of the passage and consider how and why they should encourage us today.
Life Under the Rule of God
This sermon kicks off a series through Jesus' teaching in Matthew 5-7, known as "The Sermon on the Mount." Here we'll dig into Matthew 5:1-16 and consider 7 ways Jesus describes those who are living under the rule of God.
