You Have a Sin-Solving Mediator
As the Mediator of the New Covenant, Jesus solves the problem of sin, which the Old Covenant never could do.
You've Got the Real Thing
In this sermon, we will dig into the message of Hebrews 9:1-14, which teaches us that one of the key reasons why the first covenant is obsolete and replaced by the New is that in the New Covenant in Christ, we’ve got the real, actual heavenly realities that the copies in the old pointed toward: Actual access into the heavenly presence of God and actual purification of sin and guilt. The Old could never do these things, and the Tabernacle itself, along with the Day of Atonement, clearly demonstrates this.
How God Gives Assurance
In this exposition we will consider the meaning and the significance of the "Abrahamic Covenant" of Genesis 15:7-21, and see how God gives assurance to his people through his covenants.
You've Got the Ultimate Covenant
In this exposition of Hebrews 8:1-13, we will be reminded that in Christ, we are participants in the greatest covenant relationship with God possible; that the New Covenant in Christ is the ultimate covenant, with the best possible promises and the best possible Priest and Mediator.
You've Got a Better Hope
In this sermon on Hebrews 7:11-28, we learn why having Jesus as our Great High Priest is so wonderful, and how our ultimate hope is that we can draw near to God through Him.
